Amy,

You don't know me, but nearly every day before I write, I look to this blog for inspiration and understanding. I have followed your journey for months now - thank you for sharing - I am so thrilled for you today.

Congratulations on all of your success!! I can't wait to pick up a copy of Tethered!

Thank you to you, Lynne, Hannah and Lisa for continuing to provide inspiration - particularly on those days when I feel like I will never finish my WIP.

Best -

Jane (formerly jungashick on blogger)

Congratulations! What a wonderful moment. Thank you for sharing your journey with all of the aspiring writers out here. Speaking as one of them, to see someone succeed (and so completely! That is some incredible cover art) brings tears to my eyes. Seeing your book released, knowing how badly you've wanted this and how hard you've worked for it, renews my own hope and determination.

I had hoped to be with you at Buttonwood tonight, but it looks like my health is to keep me home this time. Still, if I close my eyes, I can see you in the corner of that wonderful book store, Betsey, your family and your writing group beaming with pride--and you, absolutely glowing--all doubts banished. The world is going to love Tethered!

Savor every moment, Amy. And thanks for sharing it all with us, letting us journey with you. Raising a glass from Connecticut!

Amy, hope is all that sustains us sometimes. There was a long while when no one believed I could do this, only me. Then I found these three incredible women and my world was changed forever. I believe in you.

Patry, my dear, dear Patry, we will raise a toast to you. If it's okay, I'd like to visit soon?

Joanne, cheers to you and Connecticut! Thanks so much!

Although I'm late to this virtual celebration, my thoughts have been with you all day Amy. And, now, I'm imagining the signing/party at Buttonwood.

There are many heroes in life and you -- my forever daisy friend -- are one of mine! Brava!

Amy,

I almost went to the dentist today by mistake because of you. August 12th. I was sure that was the day I was to be fitted for my crown. My whole family had arranged their day around my appointment when I looked on my fridge and realized no, August 12th was important for another reason. Tethered was coming out. My appointment is not until the 14th. Today was your day for the crown! :) Congratulations on your big day! I can't wait to read the book that everyone is talking about.

Mary, I love that lurkers are coming out, it makes the day all the more special. How truly kind of you to buy the book, thank you!

Larramie, stop making me cry!

Lee, such a sweet thing to sa, thank you.

Tara, well, doesn't that just beat all. I am stunned and honored. MY family doesn't schedule their lives around MY appointments, though. Huh.
