I started to read it but I STOPPED MYSELF. I haven't found the book in our 3 local bookstores yet, though one Chapters said there were 2 in the store somewhere. We are moving so I don't want to order it! I'm hoping to find it on our drive across the country. We're driving through the US so I don't think I'll have trouble. The comments above sound like good news! Congrats.
Thanks, everyone! What I love about it is we've all taken this strange journey together and you saw me at my lowest --wondering if I could finish writing the book, if anyone would ever represent it then publish it-- and now there's a review in the NYT. My turn now, your turn next.
Shauna, funny you should mention celebrate. When I called Kristy Kiernan to tell, she said I must go out that very minute and buy a good champagne. Unfortunately, I was in the midst of cokking dinner for my children, then there was homework, the dog's bath, my husband was working late, and I really don't care for champagne or drinking alone. Maybe I'll celebrate today with the fabulous women of my writers' group -- though with lemonade. Cheers!
